    Sounds like BlackBerry created hybrid kernal language to blend the best characteristics of both android and bbos10 at least I hope they did.

    If this is the case why not launch the SE with android at the same time as the Priv. What have BB to loose? The SE hardware side is already done.
    Quite likely the hardware factor as in the screen size not being optimized for android use.

    Yeah, the major objective is to appeal to a broader audience who want or need apps. Most apps will look perfect on the Priv, so that will be a good impression for anyone checking out the phone and how their favorite apps work.

    Many apps won't look right on the Passport. At least not to people who aren't already BB diehards.
