If I delete apps I don't use on my priv will this increase ram and ultimately speed up the performance of the phone?

Many posts in here have iterated that RAM should be use rather free up.
The failed chipset in PRIV ruins the phone not the RAM. Although KEYone silver edition runs 3GB it is still better than priv.

In theory, at least after a reboot, most apps shouldn't use any RAM until opened. Uninstalling these apps won't increase RAM.
The exception to this are apps that have a legitimate need to run in the background (I have a wallpaper changing app for example), or apps that are just badly coded. If you have a LOT of these apps, uninstalling them could increase performance slightly. Otherwise it likely won't make much difference.

Deleting apps will free up internal storage, but not RAM. Android will automatically shutdown apps to free up RAM as needed.

Hello Also clear Cache does help. I always clear when it reaches 1gb level and right after restart device. Follow this on my PRIV and KEYONE. It does help run smoother.
    good luck
