I have set pattern look for my Priv. Even when i reboot priv asks for pattern lock then further boot process goes on but recently i have witnessed that PRIV doesn't need a pattern unlocking during boot. It directly goes to main screen after booting where it is locked.
I have not disabled or updated anything then why such behavior all of a sudden?
Second thing i have witnessed is Priv get freezed when i get a call or say when i tend to hang up..I have to press power key then freeze mode goes of. I think there is bug.
Have you guys faced these issues?

Hello it is odd behaviour. Try doing a 32 second reboot holding down powerbutton for that period of time. simulates a battery pull. After go into settings and reset your security settings. good luck

Have you installed any app that uses accessibility options recently?
Those tend to disable the bootup pattern lock.
You can re-enable the pattern lock in the security settings. You'll probably get a warning about the app that disabled the lock in the first place, but other than not being available before boot has completed, there are no negative consequences for the app.

Smart lock may be activated. That can include not requiring an unlock if home or work (location), or if phone stays on your person.

Those settings are in the security path.
