    A friend of mine just brought over a Priv that won't turn on. Pressing the power button and letting go we get 2 yellow flashes. Holding the power down and keeping it pressed it will flash yellow for about 10 seconds. I've also tried holding the power button down for 30 seconds to try a hard reset to no effect. Any ideas?

    Try charging it, leave it plugged in for a bit.

    Try downloading the latest autoloader from Thurask for your carrier / device. It's new with no data? Autoloader wipes everything, fyi. Most stuff will backup to Google automatically, but not sms / call history.

    I have it plugged in now and there is no indication that it is charging, no LED charging or screen activity. Should the LED be flashing when it is charging? Also just tried pushing the mute button and I get a solid blue LED and the phone vibrates once....??

    Meanwhile I'll leave it on the charger.

    Nothing happens. That's supposed to allow for installation of the OS, correct?

    The screen is dark. I'm going to leave it on the charger overnight and if there is still no activity when trying a 32 second hard reset or a 32 second power/volume down press I'm gonna throw this phone back at my friend.

    I think the yellow light is when battery is way to low, so let it charge for a few hours, then try holding power button for 30 sec,
