    My Priv has a weird bug. The screen flashes white for a split second every now and then. This only happens when I'm in an app. I believe that at the top of the screen it says "error" when it happens but it's too quick for me to be sure. I've tried all methods of restart/reboot. The issue persists. It began one night after I let the phone run out of battery. I put it in my charging cradle and to my surprise it was only 67% charged. It charges fine now but the white flicker continues. I don't want to have to wipe it. Any suggestions?

    If you Swipe down from the top and then open the full list of Notifications is there anything in there that might explain some 'error'?

    It actually happens all of the time, not just in apps. I just saw it happen when on the home screen.

    I first thought that it said "error". I believe now that I says " encrypt phone". Does anyone have any thoughts?

    Somewhere, quite possibly an app or 3 there is setting for 'shake to encrypt'. I've never used it, and can't remember where it was / is.
    Total shot in dark here, but it's almost a week with no resolution, so maybe time to grasp at straws?
