What's the difference in security between the BlackBerry Priv "Security" system and an Antivirus App that you can just download on the Google play store? I know that the Hardware will be BlackBerry's selling point but I think they might need something else other than a physical Keyboard and Security to have all the Androiders clamoring for this device..
BlackBerry's competition on Android for security:
360 Security
Lookout
Avast security
Clean Master Antivirus
AVG Antivirus
Just to name a few..

Blackberry Security does not equal an antivirus.
They are not the same thing.
I don't think the Priv will stop you from installing any of those malware apps.
The idea is to secure the kernel and rue communications stack so that it is harder to steal information from the phone.
On the user end, it won't be a huge difference.

360 Security I hardly call it anti-malware. It's malware on its own.
I can't count how many times I had to uninstall that crap for friends' machines.

From what Chen has said it appears there is a hardware checksum pin at play with the loader which is part of the security component.. much the same as BB10... as pointed out Anti Virus is not security for the device or OS...

They have integrated 'Grsecurity' into device and it sits to kernel and prevents the phone from a whole load of attacks which an Antivirus can never prevent.

Security like Privacy is whatever you care to define it as. What BlackBerry needs to do is convince those concerned with these issues that the Priv provides better security and privacy that almost any other Android device, and does it at a competitive price.
