    Hi!

My biggest concern about the Priv is the size. But there aren't any demo devices in the shops where I live...
So, now that some of you already have a Priv, I hope you can take some comparison photos. I'd like to see the size of the Priv compared to other devices, especially Z10 and Z30, but this doesn't have to be limited to BB10 devices...

I know, there are accurate comparison charts that already show that, but that's all 2D and photoshop. It would be awesome to have some "real life impressions".

    Thanks!

From what I understand, the priv is the size of the S6...much bigger than the Z30.

Oh if it had the S6 size, I wouldn't be concerned. You mean S6 edge+ right?
That's why I'd like to see some photos... Just comparing the numbers is difficult because the shape of the device is also important.

I held it up behind my Z30 in the Otterbox Commuter and it was just a bit wider and taller. But something about the thickness (maybe) made it feel smaller. Rubberized back made it easily held.

I'd love to know the size and feel of this device as well. From my understanding size wise it's close to the iPhone 6 Plus. So I'm thinking doing one handed typing etc might be extremely difficult.

    Cheers

It is not much bigger than a Z30. It's not even wider than the Z30.

Thanks for the link! But 77 vs 72 mm is definitely wider... in my eyes.

Yeah, this is far larger than the S6. I've held this and the Nexus 6P next to each other. The Priv is as wide as the 5.7" 6P. I have both arriving this week so I'll have a better chance to compare.

Don't you agree that the 6p has HUGE top and bottom bezels? I mean, the previous Nexus 6 had a 6'' screen (6p is 5.7'') but has a smaller body (only not as thing...)

i can't really add to the comparison, but the phone itself is not too big. don't forget u get a nice size screen with it, and not a lot of unused real estate. the bezel on the bottom is for the speaker which is a good thing to have it on the front, most phones with the speaker on the back become somewhat covered when rested on a desk or something.
it baffles me how people find ways to complain about any possible design out there...and i'm not saying you are complaining OP.

I held the priv for the first time today and was surprised by its girth...from the pictures it looked sleek and slim...but it is quite substantial...felt bigger than my s5 and heavier. Very solid feel to it.

The BlackBerry Priv can be used one-handed quite easily but with the physical keyboard two hands increase the stability.
