Ah, that's interesting, as I think this assumes that I would have to have manually download the update myself from another source, I'm guessing BlackBerry, as the Priv was purchased unlocked unbranded CDMA (new $240) activated on Verizon, as it is. Not a Verizon branded Priv, thank goodness.

However, the update was pushed to my phone which notified me to download and reboot. So if it wasn't Verizon who pushed it, who did? And how was it allowed if it's on the VZW network which maintains its own version iteration and accompanying updates?

Is someone else sending updates? Thanks if so whoever you are., lil update fairy.
