    Hi All,
    I have observed that every now and then while using the slider, especially while closing the slider, the screen on my Priv will flicker. Has anyone observed this? Is this a cause of concern?

    how long have you had your PRIV? maybe it's the ribbon

    Been having it for four months. When I open and close the slider continuously, the flickering is seen at times.

    Just as an FYI my Samsung Galaxy Tab does the same thing from time to time when unlocking. I believe it's an Android Lollipop issue (or just Android).

    Just saw the Priv tear down videos (there are 2 of them) and in the Jerry Rig Everything video, he clearly points out to assemble the ribbon cover to the phone. I am guessing we can be 100% sure that the ribbon is free from any touch/damage during the slider operation.
    I have however started closing the slider gently since yesterday and have not seen a screen flickering yet. Hoping the flicker was only because of Android

    Well well it happened again. Slap sliding the slider close flickered the screen. Hmmm hope it's not the Priv hardware. Post similar experiences please. Thanks.

    Been a while since updated this post. The screen flickering could very well be an android MM issue. I have not seen the issue in a long time now.
