Our dollar went to **** , guess the rest of us can wait. I think I'll wait until 6.0 is out or there's a good sale.

That's too much. I'm happy to make the right decision to buy a Passport Silver Edition bundle two days ago.

If these C$799 and US$599 are true, I think this phone will do fairly well. Those are both typical prices for a high-end phone such as the Priv. Being a Canadian I could see why $799 would be seen as overpriced however once you take into consideration the exchange rate which is not the fault of Blackberry, its understandable.

I would've preferred $749 MSRP plus discounts, but price is fair at $799. As I mentioned many times, the equivalent LG G4 without the curved screen and slider is $700. I only don't get why the contract price is out of whack.

Rogers also currently sells the Passport for $100 more than shopblackberry.ca, Telus is $50 more and Bell $150 more! ... so Priv will most likely be cheaper on Friday when BlackBerry starts accepting orders.

Carphone Warehouse UK offering it for 579.99 sim free. As others have said, we get clobbered for unfair (regressive) purchase tax.
