    The passport launched at that price 2300 in Dubai, and silver edition was introduced at 1899 I believe.

    So 2300 for Dubai is a good price for a premium device, iPhone 6S 16gb sells at 2700 and other premium samsung devices 2500 plus.

    Passport was released at 2699. I personally am one of the people who had it since first day launched at the BlackBerry Store at the Dubai Mall.

    So i really doubt that it would be cheaper than 2699. Most probably it will be at the same price or a little bit more expensive.

    2699aed / 3.65 = 739usd.

    I also called the Store just 5mins ago. And the staff over there have different answer when you ask about the Priv. Some would say next month and others would say End of the Year. I know because i call everyday for an update. They also have no idea that its getting released already in the UK.

    I called the Dubai Store, they said early November, call back in a week for more details. They have me on record, I can't remember how many BlackBerry 's I have bought, you'd think they take your details to call you for pre-order.

    Yes iphone sells really high here..but then I love BlackBerry..which still are expensive for an average Indian user. Rich ppl buy iphone and used to buy BlackBerry.
