Blackberry Marketing for the Priv is BY FAR the worst blackberry have ever did... It's no cohesive at ALL!

    We have the "horror" style..
We have the Android doll with dry humour
Now we have this wich I don't even know... ls it a guy? a girl? someone from Jonh Chen's Family?

Why not choose one style and stick with it?

People that don't know sh!t about blackberry look at this and are suposed to think about what?
I still maintain that the Superbowl ad was worse.
But this is almost neck and neck with that

Also you dont know who that guy is because the Priv has shielded his privacy :P
Who needs witness protection schemes when you have the Priv!!!

It'd actually be sad if that is what they were going for in that picture1

Anything is better than "Work Wide" or "Amateur hour is over" Mind you the BlackBerry website for Priv is very amateur at best and horribly designed.

although the pictures could be better, but i don't think they're that bad...
in both pictures, well a girl holding the phone and somewhat hiding behind it ==privacy.
what BB needs to do is also show what the phone can do, other than just privacy.

Security is a hard things to represent in picture form.

What do you want to see.

    Security guard with the phone
The phone security in a safe
Thebphone safeguarded by a security fence?

I think anybinage that doesn't show the screen is fine because showing off your screen isn't too secure. Hid

Looks like the iPad is more effective at protecting one's privacy than the PRIV:

Not only the concept is terrible, but i wonder if this was even made by a designer, the "i" and the "n" get confused in the background... This is basic stuff when adding backgrounds in a Powerpoint presentation, let alone doing a worldwide advertising campaign

chill out people, marketing is no easy task, no one can predict how a message can be received. there are hundreds of bad ads out there, but on paper they were super good ideas.
so far BB has shown how the PRIV is securing Android and it is advocating the privacy of people. i haven't seen the shower ad everyone is talking about yet...so i win't say anything about it.

BB just needs to have some ads that showcase what the Priv does i.e. the hub, the keyboard etc similar to the hand on video we saw from BBrry.
the phone is not even out yet and there is still room for marketing it well.

I didn't think it was bad. you can blame the latin/roman alphabet for that.

I appreciate your effort, but your wasting your time. By nature posters on on-line forums are unnecessarily critical. Look at it in reverse, more than 6 billion people on Earth and only 30 people think they are bad.

nothing to do with the phont, is the "white on white" that is the problem... that's always a no-no...
