True. Still stupid though as some regions wouldn't be able to go out and buy it that day if they wanted / were able to.
...or maybe Canada is getting it a week or so earlier. After all that exec from Reddit said end of October. As long as in time for the Black Friday sale I'm happy.
Oh oh, I am an *****-that would never happen on Remembrance Day or Veteran's Day (USA). Do Over to Nov 18.
November 18th 'tis a glorious day for release, as one special person (me ) was brought into this world that very same day. Although later than I'm expecting, I wouldn't be mad at BlackBerry

Happy Early Birthday Brother! Hope someone loves you enough to get you a Priv!
C'mon BlackBerry, you can still get the Priv in stores before them. Quite a few on /r/Android already considering cancelling their 6P orders for the Priv, now you just need to push them over the fence.
There is absolutely NOTHING that would make me buy a Lumia. No PKB no Apps and almost no customization.

I'd buy one for the amazing camera and for the best browser, Microsoft Edge, which is a universal app.
I think people-centered PIM is interesting -- I use unibox on my Mac. But, I love the Nokia hardware on the 950XL. Windows 10 Continuum with the docking station for use with a full 1080p monitor and keyboard looks novel and cool, too.
Not sure what to think of the Priv. Looks like it perfoms like last years' OnePlus, but it'll say BlackBerry on it, so that even though it runs Android I can still tell people, I'll stick with BlackBerry as my mobile platform of choice. Physical keyboard and screen look awesome, too.

OnePlus One performs like a Passport, both uses the 801. Priv has the 808 which uses a completely different processor core.
Yeah that does seem tempting. When I upgraded my pc to Windows 10, it made me want to try out one of their phones but I might just stick with the priv for a while.
