    I spoke to a friend who works at BlackBerry. I did not ask a s specific date but they said they were preparing for an event / launch of the Priv and I asked when it would be and they said "Early November "

    Bell: both reps had never heard anything about it.

    Wirelesswave: same as above

    Fido: never heard of it

    Wirelesslink: the Rep told me that none of the carriers wanted it and no one was getting it.
