PRIV got dunked and now won't boot. Do I have any options?

My PRIV got dunked in water and was quickly retrieved and left to dry but now when I charge it, it tried to boot up and will keep going until the battery drains again. Is there anyway to get the text messages off it? I did screenshot some texts (for legal purposes) but they didn't appear in my google photos and now I can't boot up.

Any options and/or any chance of getting that info back?

Pop the back off with a card and remove the battery if you feel comfortable. Does it Currently boot? If so download the App 'sms backup and restore'. And email the archive to your self. If not do the rice plus refrigerator trick and hope for the best. Those keyboards tend to hold water.

Thanks. This happened earlier in June and it sat in rice for almost 3 wks. Now the BB screen comes on while it's trying to boot then it blacks out and does it again. In other words, won't boot up. It will keep trying til the battery drains.
