I wonder what else can be displayed on the right edge (and the left edge) of the display of PRIV.

From this video, I'm wondering whether the physical keyboard has the same swipe feature as the Passport?

Great video. That's the way to put the message out. I think it will be of interest even to people who are not BlackBerry alumni. They show the PKB but are careful to include the "best in class" VKB too, so people don't get the idea that they have to use the slide every time. And that plants the question in the mind...Are there times when I might want that PKB...? Maybe the answer that occurs to them surprises them.

I think the way Dtek is presented is well done too. It's just enough to plant the idea that BlackBerry has your back when it comes to security, without getting into details. For this kind of presentation you don't want details; you want to get an impression of the device. Everything about the video conveys the impression of quality, and given the price point that's exactly what you want. And the differentiators are there: Hub, PKB, Dtek, pop-up widgets. First-class camera hardware, great battery. There could have been more but it's enough to establish that for the high price you're getting great hardware with some extras.

"Privacy matters. Live secure." Regardless of Android cynicism around here, those are good thoughts to send to the viewer.

At 1:41, it's too long for TV but BlackBerry should definitely get this video in front of as many eyeballs as possible.

Nice looking phone to bad it's not running the BlackBerry OS, guess I could just go buy a Samsung if that's what I wanted. Makes me wonder if BlackBerry is ready to leave us BlackBerry addicts behind

I WENT on Facebook to see which video BlackBerry chose and they had gone with the second one. I thought the FIRST video was better, so I started answering negative posts on their facebook and sent them the YOUTUBE link that has the PRIV Feature Overview. That is the title it IS on Youtube guys.

    HERE is the Youtube Link.

Video is decent, but you have hit the nail on the head - how will anyone get to see it?

There is not even a link to it on the Blackberry website?!??

And what about content to support a purchase decision? Is someone really going to shell out $699 for a Priv without any details about the phone? The first thing any prospective buyer is going to do after seeing a video about the Priv, or reading an article about the Priv, or seeing an ad about the Priv, or seeing the Priv mentioned on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram is to go to the Blackberry website to find out more about it...and there's nothing there on the website to push them over the edge and buy the device...
If you go to the blackberry website and hit "order" it shows "learn more" then you get specifications

Doubt it. We have the runtime, we don't know what 10.3.3 or 10.4 will bring. Maybe updated runtime along with even m beefed up features for our privacy and security. Maybe even 10.5.

Company is getting me a PRIV. I'll have to get a MICRO SIM card swapped to a NANO SIM. If all my info doesn't get transferred, will Blackberry LINK fill in the gaps?

I think it stops at 10.3.3 but supported perpetually. . Could be wrong though.

Export/save contacts to the SIM, then use a sim cutter to save yourself from buying a new one. If you're in toronto, I could do it for $3 including any filing to make sure it's got no sharp edges, and is the same size as my nano SIM.

My only problem with the Priv is those preloaded fugly emojis. I prefer the ones I have on the passport.
    P.S. I'm not joking.

Glad to finally see some appropriate advertising for the Priv. Very well done, professional, informative and projects the upscale nature of the product. Need to get this out into the mainstream quickly. I did not see it mention the Priv supports a 2 TB storage card and I think it is important to mention this because Apple does not support storage cards and Samsung has recently moved away from storage cards on their flagship phones. With a running time of close to two minutes, BlackBerry can split the video into two videos, each featuring a different set of impressive specs and run them on TV or whatever medium they intend to screen it on.

The BlackBerry Camera app is available in GPS... so maybe there's hope...

But no mention of that feature in the description. We'll have to wait and see.
