    Ok we know the Venice aka Priv will be out in black and possibly white, but let me ask you all a question.

    If every provider (mainly the big 4 here in the US) got their own carrier color variant, would you get a Priv then? For those on the fence or anyone adamant they aren't getting one.

    T-mobile = Magenta
    Verizon = Big Red
    AT&T = Blue
    Sprint = Yellow
    CrackBerry = Orange

    If the color you wanted was on a different provider, would you switch for a color?

    I don't like red but on Verizon. Blue is it would be my choice

    Not sure I'd switch to AT and T to get it though if it came down to that

    Id rather have a Silver Edition Priv like they did with the Passport. Id even be willing to pay a $100 premium for it.

    The display assembly could be aluminum but the main keyboard seems to plasticy. Colors won't change anything.

    I hope the final production version is all premium aluminum like the silver edition. It's all about presentation and looks to attract mass markets.

    I'm okay with any colour as long as it's black.

    Almost guarantee this won't happen.
    I don't k of why every carrier will have a different color device. And I'm pretty sure there will be no Orange or Yellow versions, they just won't sell.

    Black, White, Dark Blue and Red would sell.
    Nothing else.

    I wish we were given keyboard options like the ones that were posted several weeks ago I'd go with the ice blue on a white device no questions

    AT&T almost always gets a red version, if a selection of colors are offered.

    When they had the Pearl 9100, the only choice was the black to red gradient version.

    Don't want the Priv, but hypothetically speaking, I'd do what I normally do and buy from BlackBerry direct or wait for Amazon to push them out... Get the color I want while also having the device conveniently unlocked as a bonus... I always buy outright anyways... I wouldn't switch carriers over that... Not a big enough incentive...

    I'm sold for the black one. And really wish they would provide a "silver edition" like the passport did.

    Wish they'd put frets in and chance the name of the phone. They could still call it Priv for the minority who actually like that name. Or say they do.

    The only press Priv name is getting is that the name sucks.

    Priv is some app and if I owned the name Priv I'd be pulling a BlackBerry patent troll thing and suing the hell out of them.

    Offtopic, but even if you own the name priv for an app, you wouldn't be able to sue.

    No one would confuse the two.

    Priv SE would be pretty sweet!!!

    I, for one, am not for any type of carrier branding. Even carrier specific colour choices would fall into this category and I don't think I could stand it. The carriers have enough strings to pull already. Leave the design to the manufacturers.

    Just offer it in one color blackberry... And hope it sells well. Then worry about releasing it in different colors. Hell even do what Motorola is doing and offer some kind of moto maker. Just.. Get the phone out there first.

    Not disagreeing that the name is awful, it is pretty horrible but I do believe because the name is so atrocious it is catching a lot of attention.
