Hi All,

I have a Blackberry Priv, bought less than a year ago, which has been fine until about 3 weeks ago. (Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow) First, the buttons sometimes, but not always, stopped working - the power button didn't turn the screen off/on (sometimes!), the volume would get stuck all the way high, and pushing the slider down onscreen just resulted in it bouncing all the way up again immediately (sometimes!), while other times the up volume button didn't work. (Down seems to be generally OK.) When I restart it, I get the Android error, and have to restart via holding the power and volume buttons down for a long time. (This has happened repeatedly and consistently; restarting doesn't change the issues I'm seeing.) In the last 3-4 days, the phone is now always dramatically slower, taking 30-60 seconds to open basic apps like messaging, to scroll through emails or Facebook, etc., freezing often, and the battery is draining very quickly.

I haven't downloaded any new apps or changed how I use the phone during this period. I don't go on unencrypted WiFi. I'm pretty sure nothing is pinching the buttons to hold them down. Any guesses?

I have the save problem on one of my priv's some times the power button doesn't tour my priv into sleep mod when I press it

Have you tried a factory reset?
