My phone has just started having a problem where it only does the very first boot stage where the screen says "Blackberry Powered by Android." It repeats this every 20 seconds or so with a vibration notification. It started doing this while it was idle, not in use, and not shut down.

I tried all the reset options listed here and none seem to work. https://helpblog.blackberry.com/2015/12/how-to-reset-priv

WIth power plus volume down it opened a menu in tiny green letters, but no keys let me select an option (first one is "Barcodes" oddly). I then tried power and mute, got to the hold 15 seconds to boot; but then it is just back to the same problem. Any ideas how to handle this? Or is this just the end after 2+ years?
