To be fair, skipping updates is why a large number of phones and computers probably don't work properly or have bugs.

Agreed, but it could at least let you get into the OS and either force the update on its own in the background or something.

Well you'de have to buy that, and make a video about wireless charging on the stv-001 model, oh and do some durability tests and crap. See if the metal rim is actually metal or painted chrome.

Probably no wireless charging in Europe.
We'll see in a few days.

Note for you: I pre-ordered in the second as it was shown on amazon here...

Should have at least finished upgrading before starting the vlog, or at least edit the video before uploading it.

Umm looks like he still has the plastic on the screen. No wonder he's having issues selection icons on the touch screen. That's not an actual screen protector that's useable

That's why you never connect a device to the Internet on first boot. Most devices will proceed to start if they don't detect a connection.

Don't know about the private though, so maybe there's no choice.

What's the deal with the slow everything? Slow to boot up (very slow), slow to register his touch to Skip the SIM card (took multiple taps), slow to verify WiFi...hmmmmmmmm....hoping it's just an anomaly.

Need to see more videos of the Priv in action but thanks OP for posting this!!!!

I think the slow to register touch is because the plastic hasn't been taken off. Hopefully the others are just the initial boot and setup causing it to be slower then usual.

It all depends. For it being first time booting, Its normal for it to take a long time.

As with it being slow in general, it could be that it's updating apps in the background, thus making it slow
