Chasing a new genuine battery for the Priv. Have tried Etradesupply with no luck (non in stock) and can only find non genuine units on eBay.

    Anyone have any hints?

Struggling to get 2-2.5 hours screen time. Think I have stuffed the battery with using a bad charger for a week which struggled to pump 60% into the battery over night....

Found one, searching the part number was a little bit more successful.
Hopefully have it in a few days and get back to a bit better battery life.

Heavy use in one day, I have got just over 6 hours screen on time.
Best for light use is 3 hours 41 mins with idle time of 2 days 2 hours 45 mins & 4% left.

Depends so much on what you are doing, what apps you are running, and how they are set up.
If you are running a couple of social apps, with all the bells and whistles turned on, 3 hr SOT and most of a day standby would be pretty miraculous.

Before this 'issue' the battery life was good, jumping from Passport to Priv didn't notice any need for additional charging ontop of what I did with the Passport.

Are you replacing it yourself? How difficult is a battery replacement on the Priv?

Easy, the back comes off nicely considering it's the sealed type.

yeah, the video makes it look really easy - Only issue once getting back off, which just snaps on, is that the battery is glued in place.

Yeah it's been really hit or miss with me. I've found that if I let the battery drain to about 75% then fully charge it then I get really crazy battery life for the day. It's not fool proof but it can help get me up to the 12 plus hour heavy use that they advertised.

My brother has the keyone and the battery seems to be really good.

Use extra care when removing the back. On my last Priv, I cracked the plastic between the screen and one of the volume buttons while removing the back of the device. It didn't have any impact on the functionality of the button, but it made my phone look pretty trashy.

I started using DU battery Saver Pro and have experienced improvement, uninstalled Facebook, installed Friendly and is working better. Will try more extensively and update. In the meantime would be great to know where you found the OEM battery. Thanks

I had the same. I cracked the mute button (between volume up and down) and it's useless now. Fortunately I never use this button
