How do you back up all settings, apps, and data on the Priv so it will all restore if you have to refresh the OS?

Are the BlackBerry specific settings and app data backed up as well?

I ask because I read in another thread that the Notes app doesn't get backed up.

i did this fresh restore too to my priv, i found a app on google play, and i backed up all texts etc or whatever i needed and it worked great

Sms backup and restore works well for priv to priv or even from restoring sms backup from bb10
The data of most apps can be restored by google play (if you have it set to backup apps data)
For emails I don't use backup/restore apps as imap = restore from server
For contacts either backup on the google account or lots of free apps

I don't know if it is possible to do a full backup. ADB doesn't even work for me.

Why didn't blackberry make there own backup and restore all the other makers have one. Things like bookmarks, notes, texts and settings don't get saved with Google and the playstore apps won't save notes into blackberry notes.

Blackberry need to make:
File manager
Gallery
Music player
Backup and restore
Better calculator with a % sign lol

easy backup didnt work for me on my priv. It just backed up but didnt restore anything. Now I cannot recover my text messages and everything that the app kept by itself

Would be nice to have the same as iOs, plug into a computer or OTA then a full restore would take place including app location, all settings, etc. Android had many advantages, restore is not one of them. Having done a wipe and restore if my Priv, I took a few screenshots for app placements, setting, etc.

I did report it to the Helium dev, but didn't hear back. I suppose it's just a frontend for adb so if that doesn't work it wouldn't.
