I don't really think it will be that bad. He already did a preview and he seems to like it.

I think the real question is, do we really care? The real reviewers are the consumers, like you and I...

Whether they like it or not I think they wont properly admit it. They'll go for the "its alright but this company no good" angle they always do. They're scared of being different.

His preview seemed positive even after receiving a bad device. It might not be too bad.

U see his last tweet regarding the priv....he's comparing blackberry to an old salesman in a movie who leaves the business.....take the hint of where this analogy is going.

I was looking out for the Verge to have a biased review against the Priv. Their review was really supportive of the device. It was almost as though they were grateful that Blackberry had finally released an android device. Most reviews are for the Priv. It seems that a lot of people were just waiting for Blackberry to go over to android more than anything else.

    That wasn't their review bud.

His little pre-review video seemed pretty positive. I can't wait for the full review.

Well it wasn't the full review of the device. They said they still have that coming. But the initial pre-review was not so bad. The verge usually doesn't really have nice things to say about Blackberry devices. They are very biased. I hope the full review will show them keeping an open mind.

C-Net usually doesn't give good reviews on Blackberry devices either. The Priv's review wasn't so bad though. Although, it is running Android software and not BB10.

The main problems with these media outlets is that 50% of every review is dedicated to bad mouth Blackberry (how they f..cked up in the past, how they betrayed Playbook users and so on). I mean I have never read a review about an iPhone that starts with the fact that without Microsoft's Investment back then Apple would have went bankrupt. Is it so hard to just review a device WITHOUT considering the company that built it? Either a phone is good or not.

Then don't look at Gizmodo's either. Boy, the guy needs to take a tranquilizer. Most of his complaints make no sense either - excited, but hates everthing that makes Blackberry great - Hub, keyboards, build quality, etc...

In the end he says he wouldn't give one to his worst enemy. Personally, I'm getting used to it.

I actually found it to be a pretty well rounded review and covered a lot of the positives of the Priv.
At least from my perspective, it's that any issues he has are software related and it'll only get better.
I personally don't mind getting a device and having waiting for improvements as they come along, it's kind of keeps the excitement for my device

You can't be thinned skinned when you read these reviews. Most of them don't even use the phone for any length of time to properly evaluate the device.

Another thing is a lot of these critics are not using a BB10 devices as their daily driver to even make a fair comparison between the two OS systems. Just my two cents.

LOL. Well 7.4 is better than 6. Those lawyers and business savy people who saw the priv, will do some investigating of their own and will most likely adopt the Priv, regardless of what 'the verge' has to say. One of the most important features on the Priv is from blackberry's dedication to privacy. People who use android devices and need to maintain a certain amount of security on their devices will use it.
