I have been trying to figure out what triggers the predictive text with the physical keyboard and can't seem to pinpoint it. When using the blackberry keyboard the predictive text doesn't show up in Chrome, Google search and the play store. I got it to show up in the messaging app but didn't test any other programs. Using swift key I can get the predictive text on the pkb as long as I have the keyboard open before I select the text field.

I would like to give the blackberry keyboard a shot but I need the predictive text and autocorrect. Is there something I am missing or is the behavior I described normal?
