Anyone know how to change position the back button to the recent app position?
I think I know LG or HTC allow this customize
Or is it not possible with BlackBerry priv?

Do you have any idea how long it would take me to adjust to such a change in position!!!! But you are young and adaptable!

Try few apps but not working, like button remapper and such

I think the apps work if you have physical button not workie if on screen button

At screensizes of 5"+ the left and right handed use it is getting more difficult so an adjustment available out-of-the-box would be very welcome (and another selling point for droid Hub+ users of Launcher).

But if i recall Nougat will be enabled by default , so perhaps BlackBerry is waiting on this instead of implementing this for a "short term " (well whenever N will arrive in the coming months )

I would guess that BlackBerry did it this way because in BlackBerry 10, the back button on the action bar was on the left side, and they wanted to make the transition from BlackBerry 10 simpler for BlackBerry users.

But on every blackberry since the beginning of the tool belt the physical back button has been on the right. What prompted the change? - even the samsungs start out this way (but you can change with an add on).
That's just poor consistency in design.

    It's the default Android standard.

That's right. That's been the android standard for years. They weren't concerned about what BlackBerry was doing.

Samsung was the only OEM to flip those buttons for some unknown reason. But, they were hardware buttons. When they changed to on-screen buttons, they offered the option to flip them to standard orientation, but their default was, and still is, the opposite of the standard.

First thing I did when I got the S8, and later, my current S9, was change those buttons to the standard layout. I was already used to the android standard with a tablet I had, and my son's S2 bugged me with the flipped hardware buttons. Later, his S4 was the same. By then, only the home button was a physical button while the recent and back buttons were back-lit soft buttons. They were still physical spots on the phone below the active screen.

Of course, I had been used to using a Z10 for four years before I got the S8, and long forgot about the physical back button from my previous 9800.
