Poor wifi and signal strength

I have had the Priv since the Nov 6 th launch. My previous phone was the Z10 and have noticed that I can't get wifi in places where I used to. Also my network signal strength is lower as well. Anyone else experiencing this?

Sorry, 100% opposite opinion of signal strength. Z10 was OK, Z30 better but the Priv steps it up to another level. Get my wifi further from my house or businesses parking lots that have free wifi. Call quality is like no other cell phone. Only issue I have is not being able to manipulate the SD Card, that has been beaten to death on these forums. I hear BB has a fix already.

Agreed 100%. The bars don't show for phone that we'll but have yet to have a dropped call and reception is outstanding. WiFi better than my Z30

Same issue!! WiFi is horrible. It's connected but I cant load the app store and other apps. Its even very difficult to load Google. My Priv works fine on other WiFi networks though. Not sure what's the issue. Had a tech come to my house and everything works fine. Currently I have a 5mbs plan, maybe I have to upgrade to 10mbs plan.

What carrier are you with? Could be something with your carrier and APN? For example, T-Mobile Band 12 needs certain APN settings to work well on the Priv.

With Telus, signal meter seems low but call clarity is great. Wifi keeps telling me authentication problem?

I have no problems here and this coming from my Priv being on TMOBILE.

I'm coming from the Classic and I'm also seeing less bars, but I think it's a software issue. So far service is good even with a constant 2 bars connection.

The problem is clearly with your WiFi AP not the BlackBerry Priv.

I'm getting way better reception than the q10 ( didn't even get lte) and WiFi has been the same.
