The longer I have it the more it's unreliable
Hub stopped working a while ago
Now it's working again but impossible to respond to an email as it lags so badly
And even just to open and load the emails take forever
There are so many issues with this phone
    Unpredictable and unreliable
Things work one day then not the next
    Especially the notification settings
    Very very disappointed

I see you have posted this in a couple of places. I haven't had any of these issues you speak of. Have you ensured all your apps are up to date in google play? Search for BlackBerry limited and all their apps should pop up. Make sure everything is up to date including the hub as for me I have zero lag in it a replying is a breeze.

Are you noticing the lag in ALL apps on the device, or just the Hub?

    Hello Ron

Great to see your adapting "also".

BlackBerry has taken great steps to assure the success of this device.

Push comes to shove and if they still can't resolve the problem call BlackBerry Support.

This is an awesome phone, just to bad OP don't give a little learning curve time.

I have never had a BlackBerry phone that you can be proficient with it in less than 2 months.

Exactly and I have heard they have been improving on the tech support end. I also hope the Priv we'll be a successful product.

I gave the phone a trial run at an AT&T store the other day. I have Sprint, but wanted to get a feel for the phone. ONE huge issue I have is the smaller total size of the physical keyboard. Its a whole row of keys smaller in depth.

What makes less sense is that there is unused room below the keyboard.

Would like to see that improved.

But seems like a GREAT phone. Te BEST BlackBerry Ive ever seen.

Yes no issues with replying from hub and no lag at all either.

The stock Google text message app absolutely sucks and isn't integrated into the hub very well as it open the text app every time you reply from hub. But that's easily rectified by using textra or Gosms pro from Google play which solves all that.

OP, you had these issues for a while. You're told to factory reset, didn't really see any response, if I missed it, I apologize.

If things weren't fixed by then, I would have gotten an exchange from the seller.

It's android so there is that problem. I get it where she gets slow to unresponsive a few times a week. I just reboot and I'm good for a few more days.
The hub works 95% of the time for me. I get texts with a red x emails with a red x in the hub but if I use a Web app works fine.

Bottom line for me is I love the phone. She isn't perfect but is a great phone. I am hopeful that they make a curved glass none slider in the future. BB 4 life!!!!

No problems here. Hub works perfectly. Phone has been great and I've used a ton of Android and iphones. The only thing I want improved is the battery life...just a little.

Thank God none of that relates to mine. I'd throw it in a dumpster if I had as bad of an experience as you!

Hope you can find something that works a lot better for your needs. Let me know if you're looking for suggestions/help and are trying to keep the Priv for another try.

Surprised to see your feedback. I am using the device since almost one month now. I suggest you below steps :

    1. Please go you play store and update all your apps.
    2. Go to device settings > about phone >system updates > check for update .

Your problem will be solved IMHO.

Bump...let me know what you're seeing here. If it's just the Hub you could try clearing data/cache in the Hub to see if that clears it up, but if it's everything on the device it probably means that something hungry is chewing up CPU and memory in the background. Would need to look at what's using system resources in the settings screens.

Also can you let me know whether you're seeing the lag when you're responding to really large emails or emails with a massive amount of conversation history specifically? Seems we could/should optimize how much of the message 'history' we're including in our replies to make sure we're not trying to manipulate a ton of data.
