Hi. I'm a former Z30 user and when I wanted to browse my photos on my Z30 they loaded up almost instantly.

I transferred these over to my Priv SD card and now it takes forever to load them to view.
    (Blue loading circle).

    Am I doing something wrong?

What app are you using to view them. I've seen drastically different results from different apps where some are unbearably sluggish and others that are very snappy.

I have the same problem. Especially with Facebook camera roll. It will suggest pictures I took recently and it will basically stall Facebook. I think it may be a format issue

OK Droid's time for your common phrase for solving all problems:

"You need to get an app."

Yeah the Google Photos app is slow as ****. Surprising how they could develop such a sophisticated OS but have a worse Photo app than BB10.

Running into the same Google photos issue with SD card. Any recommendations for a photos app with no ads?

the funny thing here is i'm using one of the fastest SDXC cards available with a writing speed of over 100MB/s and a reading speed of 140+ MB/s and it takes ages.

What ever the problem is BlackBerry needs to address it - even if it means that google has to tweek something - as far as I have been reading for users with root access there are some tweeks in the sd card cash that can improve speed up to 5 times of the orignial speed.

this is something BB needs to look into since they are able to change the OS itself / the files inside the android system.

and yes I admit I have over 5k images in one folder and that is the biggest problem right now - up to 200 seems to be fine
