Is this a slider? Don't see a seam where the unit would slide... unless it's super-slim and flush against the screen itself...

Think the screen part just slides up to reveal the keyboard

I thought it was pretty well established by now that this would borrow significantly from the Galaxy S6 (i.e. Probably manufactured by Samsung).

I wouldn't put much stock in the Samsung charger. The person who is testing this device could very well just happen to have an old Samsung charger lying around that he used as a backup.

They definitely have an old couch, in what looks like an old RV, so... I suppose an old Samsung charger would fit in nicely.

Look at the bottom of the glass. You can see the separation just before the bottom "bezel". That is the slide-able part of the device.

Well, if the screen slides up then you can't very well have the major plugs there because most of the components are in the back half. Your headphone jacks and power adapters would get in the way of the screen sliding up.

Regarding the photo, it looks like the device is being charged in a hotel room hence the awkward placement on the back of a couch in order to reach an outlet. That would suggest that it actually works. It clearly wasn't placed there to be photographed. If these units are operating out in the wild like this then it won't be long before we get to see the OS in action.

I understand the limitations on the slider (no I don't... my 9800 had the headphone jack on top-side and USB on the middle-side...)

When I have the phone in the car, it sits in my cup holder for music. That means the bottom of the phone is sitting in something and I can't plug in the audio jack... or charge it.

Top "side" of the phone, or top of the Torch 9800? Two very different things and I don't think BlackBerry (or most other OEMs) are putting headphone Jacks on the side of the phones anymore.

Hate to be the jerk that has to say it, but this sounds more of a "you" problem than an intrinsic problem with the phone design. Granted I understand that it doesn't work with your current configuration, but if you truly want the phone, you'll find a way.

If this is in fact running Android then there will be a way to rotate the screen 180 degrees so that you can charge and play your tunes.

Is anyone else concerned about battery life since the back half of this thing is so thin? Couple that with the fact it's running power hungry android and we possibly have a wall hugger situation
