What are the odds, that the letters and numbers/symbols from the physical keyboard, will erase themselves in time, under heavy usage?

Pretty good. But you have to be really banging away on them keys for that to happen.

by that time, you'll have memorized all of the primary, secondary and maybe tertiary functions of the keys- and the phone will probably have lived it's 2-3 year cycle.

Good to know. I love this phone, and I really like to use the physical keyboard.

If you have a poorly assembled Priv where the screen rubs against the keys every time you slide the keyboard out, then it will wear out pretty fast I'm sure.

I only used the Priv for a year and was not a huge user of the physical keyboard, but I never noticed anything wearing off the keys on the physical keyboard.

Im in love with this phone.

Q10 will always jave a place in my heart, but the priv is really a complete phone. And the battery is monstrous.

With my Q 10, i had to recharge at lunch after 6 hours of chatting.

Now, im sitting at 50% at 11:53 pm, and my unplugging was at 6 am. According to the battery app, it will run dry at 2 pm tomorrow.

    This thing is monstrous

The sliding is pretty smooth. The build of this phone, in general is very good. The physical keyboard, also.

I have never wore the numbers or letters off any Blackberry device, despite using them extensively, sometimes for years.

This is good news, because I am a heavy user of the physical keyboard of the BlackBerry Priv. And I really love this phone.
