BBM video as a free resource is currently only available between BB 10 devices. It does not appear to be at this point, an option for the Priv. If the usage of BB10 BBM video usage has been poor, then I suspect little impetus to be ultimately part of the basic BBM suite within android. This seems to me to be a potentially big missed opportunity. With video, it would make BBM open to many many more millions of new customers, with the resulting potential to monetize.

I suppose BB Meetings proves that cross platform video is technically feasible. Basic BBM with video would IMHO be a massively successful "app". It's such an obvious thing to do, that I'm now convinced they will do it. I do hope so.

Whatsapp is already testing Video Calling. Bbm is too late again.

I am really hoping that the Priv will be the pushing reason for BBM to finally bring BBM Video to cross-platform.
It should have happened from the get go.
Personally I despise Skype and the only thing keeping me tied to it is the fact my wife can't have BBM Video.

With the launch of the Priv it would have been a great time to bring that feature to cross platform, but we all know planning and marketing are two words not in the vocabulary over at Waterloo.

Once BB goes Android there's no need for BBM Video, since there are already many viable video options cross platform for Android. I only needed BBM Video because this like Skype suck a$$ on BB10.

Big given the choice, I would like to have it. Better to have one all: BBM + video than BBM + Skype.
