    I know you may have seen posts like this one before. I thought about the Priv today. It reminds me of my torch days. I just was curious to know in one word; what made you take the plunge?

    Its different it gives me the option to use keyboard the display and the size of the phone also its fast i have no issues with my phone i love the keyboard to set different apps seting everybody has samsung lg and iphones i just love to be different and this phone rocks.

    To be honest I didn't realize how much I would use the physical keyboard to scroll web pages / documents, it's fantastic. Saw Chen doing it before the Priv was released and I thought it was a gimic, boy was I wrong.

    That is the key word I have been thinking about. Kind of getting tired of the "workarounds." I have a passport BTW. Keyboard is great. The thing is, I have said that with just about every blackberry keyboard after I have gotten used to it.

    I may just take the plunge but the price is keeping me away mostly.

    This is interesting. The one thing I have heard the most negative talk about is the keyboard. Being a former torch user, I can't imagine it being worse than the Torch. I used to bump thumbs all the time on that thing.

    Is that something you've had problems with?

    Well you have a lot of former Passport users here used to a bigger keyboard. If you want a modern phone with a physical keyboard though, this is the only option. I'm a big guy with big hands and I have no problem typing on it. Obviously, it took some time to get used to but it was a quick transition. I love all of the capacitive features too. Some really clever shortcuts implemented by BlackBerry here.

    BB10 was dying since the spring. Facebook was shocking and I kept getting banned from viewing pictures on snapchat

    I got it in the first week

    Although it only makes sense if I explain that I needed to upgrade to something with a good camera because the camera on my passport stopped working. I wanted to stick with BlackBerry so it made sense to get the Priv.
