I tried to take a pick of the Super moon the other day, but the results were really disappointing. I doubt it was the camera. Most likely the guy talk the shot (me) was the problem.

I wish someone would post a tutorial on how to get moon shots to turn out. Please notice I said moon shots and not something about shooting the moon.

Hahaha, my friend the only tutorial I can give you is do as I did, point and shoot!

That was the first outdoor shot with my Priv, probably would of screwed things up, if I tried to setup the shot, hehe.

I have done the same with about the same results. Zooming in doesn't help. Can't get details to show.

I have manager to take some descent pics with my 41mpx Nokia pureview. One of the hard things (except needs for high resolution) is the contrast between the darkness and the very bright moon. You have to use manual settings. I think the best results is to shoot when the sky is quite light and the contrast low.

Photos of the moon are among the most challenging. I am here because I still have and love my Priv even though I have a KEYᵒⁿᵉ. On the way into town last week the sunset was so lovely I pulled over and took this with my Priv. Near Salem Oregon.

At Ankeny Wildlife Refuge south of Salem Oregon. This has been lightly edited and cropped with the PRIV camera tools. I still like the way my PRIV captures reflections of light on water. It was a mostly cloudy afternoon but just before sunset some sunlight broke through.

Thank you. I love my PRIV camera still. For some types of photos it seems even better than the KEYᵒⁿᵉ. I may post a few others I took as well when I get a bit of time later on.

Here are a couple more photos from the Ankeny Wildlife Refuge taken Saturday with my PRIV. The overcast day holds the promise of spring. This time of year there is a lot of standing water in the area, and waterfowl winter here. There a serenity about the area and as the sun set, if you listened, you could here frogs and other creatures.


PS I saw that upside down picture and uploaded it again right side up but when I tried to delete the upside down one, it was still there. I do not want to try again because it seems a little buggy. To get it to upload right side up I have done a minimal cropping. Editing seems to get the photos to turn the right way. I don't know why.

Dusk at the park- photos with my PRIV and edited with the PRIV. For comparison, the original photo is included prior to editing. I both cases, the edited photo is first.
Edit: the unedited photo appeared upright until I uploaded it. My experience has been that unedited photos often are rotated when uploaded but edited ones remain in the correct position.
