no, just a brief walk this morning when I took the pics. I have not been here for about 4 years. Slow drive from Seattle. Did look at a million dollar home today for FUN. WHAT VIEWS. Over 5,400 sq ft - way too much home. But the view would be worth it - if one had money.
It is the most lovely time of the year over there. In the summer it gets quite hot and dry unless you are in the high elevations. We visited Mt Bachelor a few years ago in August at a place you take a ski lift up to where there is a very nice restaurant. It was beautiful There were still patches of snow.

This was taken around sunset at abandoned barn. All edits by Google. A little creepy at first when google edits your photos and lets you know.
Beautiful. Is it edited by Google because your photos are set to upload to the cloud?

    Thanks.

Yes, I think Google will selectively edit pictures that are backed up to Google Drive.

The single was a pan. It was too large when I first tried uploading with the group. So I reduced it and loaded it solo.

And I just captured what was out there. Nice state park.

The flowers are also quite large compared to the flowers on our rhododendrons.

Love it! Excellent action shot. Did you use "burst" mode to capture that? We have a Single A club here locally (Volcanoes) and several players have gone on to the Giants and played when they won the WS. I love the home town feel of the minor league games when the players are just starting their careers. I used to live in a major league town and it is a whole different feel. Our season hasn't started yet. Last summer I got a photo of a player at bat who just after i took it, he hit a go-ahead homer. I will try to dig it out and post it.

Baseball game with the Giants' Single A team--Salem Keizer Volcanoes. Several players that have played here have eventually gone on to the Giants team and played in the World Series. We enjoy watching them when they are pretty much just starting out. It has that home town feel about it.
The lefty batter hit a home run with the pitch the pitcher is about to throw in the picture, just after I took the photo.
When the weather is clear you can see Mount Hood (one of the mountains formed by a Volcano) of the Cascades if you look east toward outfield, following the 1st base line. Thus, the team name. The shadows are long; it is just before sunset.

Some recently taken pics of Bondi Beach. The day was quite lovely, approx 23C, slight on shore breeze, as the surf shows. Been a while since I was at Bondi, but it never changes, timeless ...

I confess to not actually being able to see what I was taking pics of, lol. The sun was behind me, and I find the priv quite hard to see outdoors anyway. So, these shots are all pot shots so to speak, and I literally just point and shoot using the auto settings.

Have a look at the excellent capture of the soccer ball and human movement in the next pic (and subsequent pics of the skater)

Lovely beach photos! The terrain above the beaches there is quite different than our Oregon Coast beaches. How is it for swimming there? The water is usually quite cold along the Oregon Coast.

Bondi is only around 10 klms or so from Sydney city, and is in the area of some of the most expensive real estate in Australia.

So, whilst Bondi, and the eastern suburbs, has retained its naturalness, so to speak, it's an area with a very mixed community, lotsa rich folk, lotsa everyday folk, and lotsa tourists cos it's one of the most famous beaches in the world. (And lots and lots of tourist backpackers stay there)

Just back from Bondi, maybe two ish klms, is Sydney harbour.

So yes, it's a very built up area and is a 'city' beach, not coastal.

I forgot to look at the water temp blackboard, but my guess is that it was around 18c. We're in autumn, and I guess the coldest the water gets in winter is 14c ish. The dolphins and whales usually visit then, and the sharks migrate cos it's too cold for them.
