    I wonder if BlackBerry will implement notification profiles on the Priv at the Contact and Application level. This is a feature I would certainly miss.

    If not, there are third party apps for notifications.

    Notifications on Android work slightly differently, also a little differenty depending the phone brand (HTC, LG, Moto, Nexus, Samsung, Sony).

    Exactly. I hope BlackBerry can hook into enough of the native Android notification API deep enough to give us the granularity we're used to.
