I was confused as to why I wasn't getting LinkedIn notifications in the Hub when I was getting email notifications of activity in my LinkedIn account.

Then I realized I'm not getting LinkedIn notifications at all on the Priv.

I checked Notifications Settings in the app, and they're all on.

I checked all settings in the Accounts section of general phone settings (under LinkedIn). There is no sync on/off, but I did try Sync Now, and nothing.

I checked the Notifications section of general phone settings, under LinkedIn, and there's nothing there to turn on/off. I have them set as the default NOT priority.

But I should still get the notification in the top bar for a "friend request" ans other activity.

But nothing, no notifications from LinkedIn are coming through on my Priv, into Hub or otherwise.

Are others getting LinkedIn settings? Wonder what I'm doing wrong.

Might be the same as slack, they're killing notifications for any blackberry devices, which happen to include the priv.

Something to email linked in about?

OK so it's not just me....

The other thing that threw me was I noticed my LinkedIn connections were not appearing in the contacts app as a contact account either---as was the case on the Z10.

Not sure what the deal is on that.

People are using LinkedIn? I never got anywhere. Maybe I'm just undesirable in the employment arena
Hopefully LinkedIn fixes the issue with their app soon!

Turn this on in LinkedIn settings. The second one.

Note that it will not sync contact pictures. LinkedIn used to sync contact pictures with Andoird, but it was very buggy, so instead of fixing it, they just gave up and removed the feature.

In general, the LinkedIn app is absolutely horrible.

I'm confused by your use of the word "killing". Slack clearly identified it as a bug, which they subsequently fixed.

Agree that perhaps the same thing is happening here with LinkedIn.

Clearing DATA (not Cache) and relogging into LinkedIn cured it.
