    About a month ago I started receiving messages from my wife and the messages didn't make sense ... something was missing. I soon learned that she was replying to a text sent to both of us, but I never received the original group text. The same thing happened yesterday, a group text was sent to three people and I never received it, but did receive on of the recipients reply back to the original group text. Any thoughts? The last few updates have made my Priv go crazy; hot phone again, Hub acting up, and now group texts not going through to me.

    I read an article from Android Authority regarding a known issue sending/receiving MMS messages with the BB Priv on the AT&T network. The article stated to disable "Enhanced LTE Services" and to have AT&T disable HD calling on their end. (I got mine working without having to contact AT&T).

    To turn off Enhanced LTE Services, go to into Settings -> More -> Cellular-> Enhanced.


    I also did this...

    Opened my phone dialer and typed *#*#4636#*#*
    A window entitled "Testing" appeared
    Clicked on "Phone Information"
    Scrolled down to where it said, "SMSC" and hit "Refresh"
    Rebooted my device

    I am not experiencing any issues with MMS messages using the stock messenger app with Enhanced LTE Services on.

    I have this problem periodically. I think it may have been working at some point prior to the M upgrade. I like my enhanced calling, and don't do that much group texting so I'm hesitant to turn it off. Can someone explain (or point to a link ) the keypad mumbo-jumbo?

    In short, the keypad mumbo-jumbo allows you to access hidden settings. In this case, following the steps outlined above can help if you're experiencing SMS/MMS issues (such as those addressed in this thread)

    Hi RPC Blackberry.... i have long been having the group text problem on my priv... i opened the dialer and did what you suggested. Also tried to To turn off Enhanced LTE Services, go to into Settings -> More -> Cellular-> Enhanced. but when i do that i do not see ENhanced?? help?

    Had an issue with the Priv on Tmobile with not receiving MMS (group) messages while on Wifi.

    The solution was to create a new in entry in APN settings that COMBINES the two other APN entries that were already there. Make sure the entry you created is and stays active.
