When using the keyboard, I find it easier to swipe down to access numbers when typing however there is no zero on the virtual buttons. It makes me go back to the keyboard and press Alt key and then hit zero.
I am the only one to find that weird and annoying?

Very annoying and then some, hitting the physical "0" and opening Goggle voice.

Brought that up in another thread. I even tweeted @michaelclewley from BlackBerry and his answer was that the zero was easy to access on the pkb. Kind of stupid if you ask me because like you I prefer to type numbers on VKB.

We are not talking about the same thing. We are referring to the VKB that pops up on the screen when you hit the SYM key on the pkb

It is only when you are using the physical keyboard and open VKB to get special characters and numbers

Can someone show a screen shot of that particular keyboard (When the pkb is open)?

On my Q10, the 0 key doesn't require the alt button. It's just left of the spacebar, and it's keystrokes 0 primarily.

Is this different on the Priv?

Now I see . . . the 4th row is missing compared to the physical keyboard.

But isn't there a dedicated 0 key on the physical keyboard already!? Can no one answer this? No alt required?

I guess if you're typing in a list of numbers (like a phone number) and you're on the vkb, you want to do it all on the same keyboard, not reach down to a new keyboard every time you want to hit zero. But I just hold down "sym" and type it all on the pkb anyway.

Can you turn off google voice, or deactivate it from being started when you hit the zero key?

Isn't the point of swiping down to enable shortcuts mapping so you don't have to touch the screen at all? If you're going to type a long string of numbers, isn't it easier to just alt-lock?

It seems to me that BlackBerry designed it this way on purpose, and it makes more sense to me than to add a redundant 0 to the swipe down menu.

Non-issue as far as I'm concerned.
