Only a few screen shots and people have already made up their minds that this phone will suck. I can't wait to hear them say BlackBerry will fail because this new phone won't have 1 tiny thing they need.

Wait until the specs are out...more detailed pictures etc before some jump all over it.

The players are going to play, play, play, play, play, play....

The haters are going to hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate....

    Shake it off...

I think I've found my upgrade path. I'll be paying close attention to upcoming details. If not I'll be sticking with my Z30 a little longer. I am very happy with it so that doesn't bother me... yet. Hehe.

I like the device but I dont like the curved screen gimmick. I also think the curve is going to reduce the strength of the device. It cannot be as robust as Passport

The curve has a distinct advantage because swiping from the side to access the Hub is a key feature of BB10.

Doesn't look good on the capacitive keyboard side of things
Nothing is sure on that point, nothing stopping them doing a 4 row capacitive keyboard, they just won't be doing the virtual number row since the trackpad-looking line would result in too much of a gap.

I haven't decided on my next BlackBerry device. I was contemplating the Passport but I might go with the slider as my first BlackBerry phone was the Torch.

Surprisingly, when I talk to people at the company, a lot of people said they really loved the Torch.

...but let me just say, that as far as innovation goes, I don's see any... Maybe my expectations were too high...

    curved edges? not innovative
    sliding keyboard? not innovative

Unless I'm missing something, it's a good phone, but not innovative...
A bit disappointed, my opinion only...

If it is a Samsung assisted device, wonder if they will switch to Exynos processors. Qualcomm isn't doing to hot lately.

Not sold on curved screen idea and think it is just a waste. Would rather see a high end pure all touch. Guess Chen hates all touch.

Not sure I like the chin, it only makes device bulkier.
Persepective can be misleadingly. I also tried some measuring. Yes it looks like it has a little "chin" but I think it's not even half the size you sketched. I trust the BB designers and engineers. I don't think they make a phone with a one centimeter long metal/plastic whatever thingy at the bottom.

2015. So we can expect it late Q1 2016 then. Still nothing for all touch who want the creek with the bulk of PKB mechanisms. Not impressed with the roadmap!

Disagree! the passport touch sensitive keyboard was an innovation,

I got excited about that three rows touch sensitive keyboard concept that popped out with a mechanical mechanism! was maybe expecting something like that
that would have been innovative, and would have reduced the overall size of the device when keyboard was out..

this phone is a Hybrid Samsung/BlackBerry that will be probably be 18cm tall when opened...
