I thought Bla1ze posted it was similar to Galaxy s edge? Others are saying dual curve? My mistake if I took that wrong.

WTF a Z 10 with a slider and curve inward.....ugly....And they say that it has been design by the porsche design team: high-end luxury phone, designed in partnership with Porsche Design codenamed 'Keian' in honour of Keian Blundell.

    No, Thanks
    Talking about two different phones.

]It's almost certain it will be an amoled. Cause samsung has the patent for that curved screen[/B].

Anyone notice that under that 6 row screen, there's a lit up call, search and camera button? It looks dedicated, and either touch based (like android) or maybe even physical.

Also this device looks very thin. Don't let the curve edge fool you.

Yes, I also remember when I had my Note 3, Samsung's screen did seems to be not that good as many have complained that their screen broke without dropping it.

Looks about 4.7 to 5.2 inches. Won't be more or less than that. I'm gauging based on the Z30 screen on 10.3.1

They said 2015... so sometime in May or June of 2016, unless you're in the USA, which will be November of 2016.
the keyboard key layout to me suggests this device will not be supporting the capacitive touch enabled like the passport ?

Doesn't look good on the capacitive keyboard side of things

Will be bought if it uses modern specs and doesn't cost too much (around 600$).

I always loved sliders and they have been my preferred form-factor since the T-mobile MDA 3.

    The Leap however...
Another example on how to price yourself completely outside of the market.

Woo! It's probably using the exact same screen as an S6 Edge so 5.1inches with 2560x 1440 with Gorilla Glass 4!
I can't tell for sure but is that keyboard based on the Q5 layout?
And the bottom bar of the screen is different (is that a search icon in the middle?)
    Either way I'm pumped!

Here is my question, who is building this slider phone. I ask this because of how cozy blackberry is getting with Samsung. They could partner with Sam to build phones and high end specks and leave the other devices to Foxconn

Looks nice except why make a slider??? Why couldn't they just make this same device but all touch screen. People nowadays don't want pkb's, they want all touch screen

I would have thought with a slider design they would have went more with the passport keyboard layout. That way the screen wouldn't have to be elevated as high and in turn would make for a less top-heavy feel. But that's just my initial thoughts. Other than that I'm really excited to see the final product and see some hands on videos and definitive spec sheets and pricing! Of course it's going to be WAY out of my "broke college student/paying for a wedding" budget but the sooner it comes out the sooner a used one can be sold for cheaper ;p

Looks sweet but i dont get the whole need for this curved screen stuff. Just like the S6, it seems more like a novelty. Now you cant even have a proper case with a lip to protect the screen. What benefit does the curved screen serve aside from looking cool?

Anybody know if more devices are to come? That's annoying that no full touch announced. How many customers will they loose that are waiting to upgrade the Z10. And z30. Z10 has outsold all other bb10 models to date. Sliders are an even smaller niche than the keyboard models. . Damn bb If no high end touch you f***** up
