This one will be thicker in areas where they cannot add more battery due to the mechanism e.g. around the screen, so there are limits to how much more battery will get squeezed into it.

I agree, ultra slim phones are useless. I would go on and say even iPhone 6 is too slim due to fillet edges. Passport has proper thickness but this thing looks like double the Passport thickness don't you think?

I've never owned a BB with a physical keyboard and Passport, while magnificent, is probably too big for me. If this device lives up to the hype, BBRY might just have to shut up and take my money.

Check this out: having overflow icons on the left side of the curved edge and having additional options (...) on the right side of the curved edges. If BlackBerry doesn't utilize it like this then its just a gimmick.

The way the light hits the phone in the picture at the start of this thread, it looks like a curve on the side like with the s6 edge rather than the one on an LG Flex or iphone 6 that has been in somebody's pocket.

I think it's curved at the edges like the Galaxy S6 Edge. That's why they called it a "double curve", the LG is just a single big curve.
