Latest Android phones hijacked with tidy one-stop-Chrome-pop ? The Register

Javascript exploit discovered for Chrome. Details not released. Hope BlackBerry gets on these disclosure lists to have quick fixes and released before public disclosure.

I don't see this as a BlackBerry issue directly, but its gonna fall under the security umbrella. If by some luck the exploit was mitigated by something the Priv has, they’d be able to market the hell out of it.

If it's just a chrome issue, then BB is not to blame. Google can just push an update for Chrome in Google Play and fix the issue.

If that is indeed true, who cares?
Chrome is the default, pre-installed browser on the Priv.
Can you remove Google from the Priv?
    No!
    Whose fault is it?
    BlackBerry's.

Yeah, shame on BlackBerry....and Google, and Samsung, and LG, and, Sony, and....etc.

Wish there were more details about this Chrome exploit like if the Do Not Install from Unknown Source was turned off before visiting the special website. Still an impressive hack.
