For those of you who switched from BB10 devices to the PRIV and were using Neutron Music Player as your main source to play music. Are you still using Neutron from Google Play for music, or does PRIV have better options?

Its the one I settled on after trying out about 5 different ones.
And, I never used it on BB10 at all.
I just knew it had a good reputation.
Number one with me. I have it on 3 devices.

It's $8, wow!!
Yeah, I bought it again. Still sounding wonderful.
Sent from Jiggy's Priv. . . .
I remember power amp being a very good one back in the day don't know if they still support it

What I mainly like about Neutron on my Z30 is that the screen stays on when I'm playing music. Does the standard Google music player have this feature as well?

It works with the flip case where music controls are accessible with a tap/swipe. You don't really want it to stay on fully as that will drain yer battery.

Definitely use the Neutron on Android. Just as it is the best player on bb10 it is also the best player on Android.
Never heard of it on Android. I use power amp as it has so many options along with various widgets and some great sound controls.
I guess for someone who is listening with headphones, they may not need it open. I mainly use it in my car while the phone is plugged in anyways. It just makes navigating through music easier while driving to have the screen stay open.

Settings - user interface - power lock. Keep the screen on if device is attached to power supply

Well yeah in that situation you really want it on.

Black player, the best and is free
Posted via blackberry.....priv?
If you're listening over Bluetooth, waking Priv from screensaver causes a two-second burst of "choppiness" in the audio, the audio equivalent to a strobe light. The interface is cumbersome, unintuitive and largely unexplained: I've figured a bunch of stuff out, but after two months, still haven't found a single control that simply does "Play this Playlist". I'm looking for another player now; sunk-costs be damned.
Blackplayer here. But I manly use Spotify premium through my fiio e18 into my grado earphones
Audiophile here and use neutron on my priv after using it for some time on my old z30 and recently let go passport. The app works better on the priv than the others I use to use it on.
Onkyo HF Player. Works great and I prefer it to Blackplayer or Neutron. It's also free unless you want external dac support - - and no ads.
I use poweramp
Has anybody tried streaming FLAC files using bluetooth to their car?
I'm using Blackplayer and it plays the FLAC files just fine, but doesn't seem to stream to my car properly.
I never had this issue with my Passport and the stock BB10 music player.
I used Neutron previously on my Q10. On my Priv I'm using BlackPlayer and it's great. Meets my needs
I still use Neutron. It is a great player, and it has no issues with tags like so many. Most players I have tried do not organize the albums correctly, necessitating editing the tags, Neutron organizes them perfectly without editing.
Poweramp is pretty great imo
Yup had it on my z10 passport and now on my priv I do use it more than the Google version I love the customobility
