I've received a replacement Priv from AT&T and need to return my old one. My question is what is the best way to make sure my phone is wiped clean and nothing is left behind? I don't need to perform any backups.

    Thanks in advance!

Set a password with automatic wipe after 10 failed tries. Enter wrong password 10 times.

Thank you. I see the factory reset option. I'm just a little confused on how to re-encrypt in recovery and factory reset in recovery.

Sorry, the device is actually already encrypted by default. So all you need is a factory reset. Remember, even if it wasn't encrypted, it would take a knowledgeable hacker with relatively expensive equipment to get your information off the device after a reset.

I read the title and the words "Front to back, NEVER back to front" immediately popped in my head.
