    Almost every phone store has an cutting tool for that, doing it yourself is a bit risky

    I was hoping to be able to swap back and forth while I got used to the new OS. But now they will invalidate the old card, presumably.

    CAUTION - folks have messed up the sim card slot in the phone when using some adapters. They can catch on the pins/contacts and bend/break them.

    There's another thread that suggests that the nano sim can just be slid in without an adapter as long as you align it properly. Supposedly, it will stay in place. I guess thickness is the same and only the overall size is different.

    A nano sim is slightly thinner, you can use some fine sandpaper to thin the micro sim.

    And you are right about the adapters, they easily destroy the slot
