I have had my Priv for about 2 years. No problem sending or receiving e-mail. I still receive e-mail, but the Hub stopped sending e-mail today. I just get a clock symbol instead of the check. No error message, or option to retry. Please help.

Clock means it's trying, most likely a carrier problem, or your email providers servers. Sending and receiving are two different sets of servers, or at least addresses.

So if I can send e-mail through a standard computer its a carrier problem ands I should call them and if I cannot send e-mail through a computer it is a provider issue and I should call them. Is that how I should proceed?

Basically yes. Though I have had the Priv, (and other phones) forget or 'mangle' the outgoing server port or address. Also try deleting the offending email account on the Priv, then set it back up.
BTW - if your email is with comcast / xfinity, they have been having problems for the last two weeks or so.

Thanks. I hadn't thought to try with my alternate e-mail accounts. I'll try those too, and see if the problem is across the board or just one e-mail account.

So I can send e-mail through my computer, and on my Priv through an alternate e-mail. I'll try setting the account back up and see if that fixes the problem.
