I just went to the AT&T store and played with the Priv on display.* The phone looks and feels great!* I don't think I'll change from my Z10 for the Priv, however.* The Priv is too large - almost as big as an Iphone 6S+.* Also, the physical keyboard is superfluous.* The keys are small and, after using a touch for several years, I found it difficult to press them fully.* The typing experience was slow and inaccurate.* I might get used to it though, like most people get used to anything they live with for a while.* The touch keyboard on the Priv was very nice, though.*

Navigating through the screens and applications was a little awkward, just because I don't know anything about Android. I'm sure it would be easy to pick up.

Anyway, I'll wait 'til BB comes out with something else.

I believe an in-shop minutes experience is a little short one to adapt to the new KB and Android UI ...
Therefore thanks for the question mark in your title

Probably waiting on your non-existent report of said thread. Do you think mods magically read every post? If there is an issue, report it. Asking where the mods are is pointless. Help us help you.

On the forum that I own and run. Yes the mods non-magically moderate threads and delete spam regularly. If you guys need magic to read and moderate threads, that may be the first problem.

No disrespect meant to you blaze1. I've learned 90 percent of how to work my blackberries from your tutorials and posts. So I've got nothing bad to say towards your effort.

I guess I better dip from this site for a bit while these winers crawl back to their rock where their opinions matter...

And you came to that conclusion how exactly? I don't have anything against personal reviews and thoughts but to say that the Priv is as big as the 6S+, that is just bs. Have you ever seen a 6+ or did you hold one in your hands? For example I put an iphone 6 4,7' on top of my 930 5' and the 6 was overall as the 930. If you do a compare you can see that 6S+ measures 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm (6.23 x 3.07 x 0.29 in) whereas the Priv measures 147 x 77.2 x 9.4 mm (5.79 x 3.04 x 0.37 in). There is quite a difference between them.

I personally feel with the likes of AT&T offering a 14 day return policy, one should take advantage of it, to truly test the unit.
Standing in a shop, and 'testing' a smartphone, isn't the best way to truly appreciate it. Just saying...

Actually, I came to that conclusion by holding an IPhone 6S+ and the Priv face-to-face! The 6S+ was a little taller. I loved the feel and look of the phone... it's just too big for me.

What's the issue with what I posted? The phone IS big. The keyboard IS more difficult to use (for me) than the touch keyboard.

I tried it today as well for a few minutes. My impression was that it's a nice phone a little on the large size and the keyboard is a bit small. Having never really tried android before I found it fairly intuitive but not as easy as BlackBerry 10 for me obviously.

I hope it does well, wish it was a bit cheaper but if I was in the market for an android phone I'd probably get it or wait till the priv 2. My z30 is good for me right now.
