    I can no longer seem to move and run apps to the SD card. The option is no longer present.

    Is this the case or have they moved this function to somewhere else in the settings field?

    Your device should have detected your SD card on its first boot and asked you if you wanted to carry on having your internal storage seperate from your external storage

    Go to Settings.
    Storage & USB
    Options


    Does it find you an option to Format as portable? Then your SD card has been adopted by the device and cannot be removed
