So I have a phone that I can not update ,what is the purpose of selling unlocked phones, this is really crazy, I have always use a Blackberry and with the bb10 I used to install leaks all the time and now I'm stuck with this phone and can't update and yes I know that I can put a AT&T sim in and get the update but AT&T is not in Bermuda so my wife and I is SOL ..I would like to know if Samsung go through the same way?

You can try but AT&T has not released MM yet in any event.

i have tried this, and does not work so far, so i think it has to be an active sim.

Assuming you'll have the European Priv (STV100-4), download it now, get the Priv tomorrow and follow the guide above. It'll wipe the phone, put on Marshmallow and bring you back to initial setup, where you can set up the phone to be in German.

For the folks that updated to 6.0, can you still use the enter key from the physical keyboard to send messages on hangouts (btw I'm not using hangouts as an sms app)?

I am guessing that it is the U.S. carriers controlling the release. I would think BlackBerry would like every one to move to this as quickly as possible
