I loved the story maker app on BB10 and used it quite frequently. Is there a decent app that anyone would recommend from the play store. I have tried a few of them and some are difficult to use. Others don't let you export a video.

    Any suggestions?

I hope someone suggests one as I really miss it as well and have not found anything even close. Even the iMovie on my iPad is a poor substitute.

I really miss this app too. It was the easiest app to use. Simple and effective.

StoryMaker is fun... Thankfully my Classic is still in use, holding down that Daily Driver spot so I don't have to miss it quite yet...

I know I used to use that all the time and people were always impressed how I was able make something that fast on my phone.

Google photos has this and I think it's better!
Just hit 3 dot menu button and select movie then put whatever photos you want , add title music etc...

I'm currently using viva video after trying a few video editing apps. There were some good ones out there but soo ad ridden with watermarks and a monthly subscription for premium . I paid the 2.99 one time fee for non watermarks and no ads in viva video and so far so good. But it is NO storymaker!

I use a few different ones, story maker is one of the main apps I miss on bb10. Try: adobe clip, Talnts, vidstitch, wevideo(paid app), or inshot.

While it's not Storymaker... The nerd in me still LOVES PowerPoint... Amazing things can happen in PowerPoint always... Though it's not as simplistic or basic as Storymaker is, it isn't anything too cumbersome either... Always a good time for me... ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ’

The closest I've found is MiniMovie by ZenUI.

Thanks Bla1ze! Finally used this app for the first time. Not bad. If Story Maker is a 10, this app is a 9. Not bad at all!

Thanks for the suggestion. It ain't BlackBerry Story Maker but it's pretty good.

Side question : I tried Google Photos version but it seemed to want to upload my photos. I don't use their cloud backup. Does it not process the video on the phone?
